I had a mixed experience during my stay at Hotel Pulitzer Buenos Aires. The location was fantastic, being centrally located and close to all the major sights, which made exploring the city easy. However, I was disappointed with the service, especially at the front desk, where the staff seemed unwelcoming and not particularly helpful. The room, while large, could have used some updates, as it felt a bit worn and tired, and there were issues like leaking pipes that weren't addressed satisfactorily.

Rooms

My room was spacious but looked quite tired and worn. The furniture needed some love, and the bathroom could definitely use better maintenance, especially with the leaking ceiling pipes. I felt comfortable overall but expected better for the price.
Service

I found the reception staff to be quite cold and unhelpful, which left a negative impression on my stay. There was a lack of warmth during check-in and check-out, and when issues arose, the response wasn't very accommodating.

The hotel is situated in the city center, making it convenient for sightseeing. I enjoyed walking around and finding restaurants and attractions nearby, which definitely enhanced my overall experience.

I appreciated the dining options available but found that the breakfast area was cramped with not too many options. However, the bar had a nice atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring.
Facilities

The pool was quite underwhelming and not well-maintained, which made it less appealing to use. While the hotel offered decent amenities, I expected more comfort and better upkeep overall.

5.4/10

I enjoyed the central location of the hotel, which made it easy to explore the city. However, my stay was marred by several issues, particularly with the service and cleanliness of the rooms. The rooftop area had potential, but the pool was uninviting and poorly maintained, which was disappointing for a hotel in such a prominent spot.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, but it showed signs of neglect with marked furniture and wear. I expected better upkeep based on the hotel’s reputation.
Service
5.0
The service from most of the staff was lacking, especially during the check-in process when no one seemed to acknowledge my arrival. It felt like I was bothering them rather than being welcomed as a guest.
Location
8.0
The location in the Retiro area is fantastic, right near shopping streets and within walking distance of key attractions. This was definitely a highlight of my stay.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had a decent variety, but I found the selection to be somewhat limited. It included seasonal dishes with some fresh fruits, though it could use a bit more diversity.
Facilities

The rooftop pool was not as appealing as I had hoped, and I had to request pool towels multiple times, which was less than ideal. The amenities felt underwhelming for a hotel of this caliber.

My stay at Hotel Pulitzer Buenos Aires was quite disappointing overall. While I appreciated the modern décor and comfortable beds in my room, the lack of proper service and the noisy rooftop bar severely impacted my experience. The pool area was also underwhelming, lacking sunlight and a welcoming vibe. It felt more like a boutique hotel trying to meet luxury expectations but falling short.

Rooms

The room was spacious and well kept, featuring comfortable beds. However, it felt a bit worn and needed some freshening up.
Service

I found the service lacking, with staff being quite cold and unhelpful during check-in and throughout my stay. There was no welcome or acknowledgment of special occasions, which felt impersonal.
Location

The hotel is situated in the city center and is relatively close to various attractions, but the surrounding neighborhood wasn't the most attractive, which detracted from the overall experience.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited, with breakfast offering some fresh fruits and basic items but not much variety. The Sky Bar was enjoyable for drinks but quite pricey.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were below expectations, particularly the pool area, which was dark and unattractive. Other amenities like room service and housekeeping did not meet my expectations either.

My stay at Hotel Pulitzer Buenos Aires had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it super easy to explore. The hotel was clean, and the roof terrace with cocktails was definitely a highlight. However, I faced some issues, such as a noisy room and a bit of confusion about my late check-out request, which was frustrating but manageable.

Rooms
8.0
The room was quite nice with a comfy bed, but not completely excellent. I could hear some city noise at night, which was a bit annoying.
Service
7.0
I found the reception staff to be decent, giving good advice and speaking English well. However, they weren’t overly friendly, which felt a little off for a boutique hotel.
Location

I loved the location! Being centrally located made it easy to walk or grab a cab to all the major spots. It even sits right near some cool art in the area.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was good enough but could use more variety. I enjoyed the attached restaurant for dinner, though it had limited options. Had a nice meal there every night.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were okay; room service and housekeeping did their jobs, but I had issues getting an iron and ironing board. Still, the roof terrace was a fun spot to unwind.
